Query preparation for searching data into WWW-MINCRYST
You can select any parameters (not necessary all) from this list by next way:
- Symmetry Class: You can select several classes (for example, cubic, hexagonal etc.)
- Space group: Input single starting part of space group (A, B, I etc.) and single or several tailings
(2/c, nma etc.) separated by spaces.
Also, if you remain empty any part database will be searched for all possible values:
- A mma nma - means that will be searched all space groups beginning from 'A' and ending to 'mma' or 'nma';
- R only - means that will be searched all space groups beginning to 'R';
- only   m3m - means that will be searched all space groups ending to 'm3m';
Note: check box for searching together with selected groups with same parameters but
another point of coordinates (for example: if you select I mam and check box, database will be search
I mam and *I mam).
- Unit Cell Parameters: Simple input numerical value for searching;
- d(hkl): very similar to Unit Cell Parameters, but you can use several values
separated by comma "," or space.
For example: 9.0,10.0,22.0 or 9.0 10.0 22.0
Possible options:
- Any values (slowest) - means that any d(hkl) will be used for search (independent from intensity). I recommend for more fast search next:
put more rare d(hkl) to beginning of order;
- Strongest values - means that search will be produced through how much strongest values as you input, but independent from intensity.
I.e, if you input three values, program will be search through three strongest intensity, but 1st entered value can be third or second by intensity
- Strongest values, ordered (fastest) - searching will be proceeded in order of intensity: 1st value - fist by intensity, 2nd - second etc.
- Possible undefinity: select ranges (in %) for numerical arguments. If you select not 0, for
example, d = 10.0 and undef = 1%, searching will be within range 9.9 - 10.1.
Note: 'Reset parameters' will be reset all input parameters
